I swear I think about Mostly in Pererenan at least once a week when I’m in Sydney. We had lunch there on our last day in Bali last year and this time around, we came back for a date night dinner.

Check out my Reel or TikTok for a quick recap on this date night or ready on for full deets and photos.

Mostly is in the up-and-coming area of Bali called Pererenan. Their menu is predominantly great Asian fusion cuisine and just like their name, they cater to mostly everyone.

I had so many seafood and vegetarian options. Plus, there are so many non-alcholic drinks to choose from, including lassi to juices & smoothies.

The space is just stunning. Instead of the typical ‘tropical island’ theme with palm trees and rattan, the vibes are very much luxe oasis – think zen meets nature. 😌 🌿

If you took away the dining tables, this is the kind of aesthetic that I would love in my forever home.

I’ll add more pics of the aesthetic below but first up, let’s talk about the most important thing – the food!

We ordered a few things on the menu to share over some mocktails:

  • Blackened kingfish
  • Grilled halloumi salad with asparagus, orange & honey
  • Smoked butterfish, cream cheese & cucumber sushi roll
  • Mushroom medley dumplings
  • Balsamic glazed pumpkin & walnuts

Here are some more shots…

Everything tastes amazing, but I think the smaller plates deserve a shoutout. Normally sides and small plates act as fillers at restaurants, but the mushroom dumplings and halloumi salad were absolute flavour bombs!

I could’ve eaten 50 of those dumplings and every bite of the halloumi with fresh orange pieces and greens was like a burst of happiness.

My boyfriend’s view for the night:

Vs. my view for the night 😍

You’ll get a better feel of Mostly in my IG Reel but here are a few snaps to give you an idea of the vibes (including a throwback of my last visit).

I was super full after and we pretty much had to roll home! 😱🤰🏻

Whether it’s date night or a daytime remote work session, this place Mostly is definitely one of the places I must visit at least once whenever I’m in Bali.

P.S. If you’re heading to Mostly to work remotely, a breakfast or lunch session is best and laptops aren’t allowed after 6pm. Respect the vibes!

PPS. Mostly is a large space, so you’re safe to show up and get a table for dinner. But check ahead to see if they’re having any specific events or to be safe, you can book a table here.
