My face needed a lift

I was looking really dull and dehydrated. Maybe it’s because I always struggle to drink my 8 glasses of water a day, but let’s talk about that another time. So I put on a charcoal mask before going to bed. After a few minutes, my face tends to look like a dried up desert, but it feels amazing once I rinse it all off. I use Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask by The Body Shop.

Date night 💕

My boyfriend and I decided to have a casual date night in Newtown – back in our old neighbourhood. We went to our favourite sushi train called Sushi Wow, followed by Sweet Lu for mochi ice cream. Then we wrapped up the night chatting over some chai.

PS. I’m not big into makeup, but here’s a quick post about my lazy girl makeup for date night – I keep it natural and casual.

Major foodie WIN

It shouldn’t be a surprise that my biggest highlights involved food! I made some more epic sandwiches at home, including this smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel.

My biggest foodie win of the week (and maybe entire year so far) was making my own pizza dough from scratch, then using it to make garlic prawn pizzas at home. 🍕

I was doing a happy dance when I was eating my pizzas. I think I like them better than the takeout version!

Another food-related post I shared this week was my non-yucky green smoothie. I have no idea why, but my IG Reel for this smoothie has hit over 15,000 views! 😱 That’s a lot for me.

A weekend appreciating home

We explored some local spots around the inner west and checked out a bakery called 27 Three Boulangerie in Petersham, where grabbed some coffees and croissant.

It was such a beautiful day so we ate them by the Cooks River in the sunshine. New fave spot unlocked!

Quality time with family

I usually keep my Sundays free for some family time. We spent the day walking through the market at The Rocks and ended up having afternoon tea at The Tea Cosy.

This is such a great spot to chill, chat over scones and finger sandwiches. I had a rocking chair so I just sat back and people watched while sipping on my tea. 🫖😌 You can even have a go at knitting with their cute knitting supplies.

I also spent the weekend doing some cleaning (yay 😂) and life admin – there was a little bit to plan, since we’ll be flying to Bali next week!

Thanks for following my weekly highlights! They’re not groundbreaking events, but they don’t need to be in order to be meaningful for me. 🥰

If you haven’t yet, check out my Reel recap here. I still can’t get over my pizza dough!

Can’t wait to share my Bali blog posts.
